How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say people who tend to be very proactive, go-getters. They will take the initiative to meet with someone if they think it would be helpful to have a conversation or just really good for communication purposes.
I think also people that have a passion for public service, especially being able to realize sometimes you have to make these tough decisions that do impact people. I think that is just as crucial as having the hard skills.
