What have you learned about this role that you wish somebody would have told you before you entered the industry?

In terms of owning a business, I want to keep separating the concepts because, while they are intermingled, they represent two different energies. If someone had told me early on that owning a business and being my own boss would take time, patience, and a lot of trust, that would have been helpful.

Trust in yourself, trust in the resources around you, and trust that consistent effort over a long period will lead to success are crucial. I believe this understanding would have lessened my fear as I progressed.

When it comes to being a coach or a consultant, I would emphasize being mindful of your own well-being. You are often holding space for many people, so connecting with what ensures your own wellness throughout this process is very important.

You can't give from an empty cup. As coaches and consultants, we love to give and help. If you're not paying attention to your own well-being and are solely focused on helping others, it can be depleting over time.
