What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

I studied liberal studies, and that was really helpful. The liberal studies degree, though I was there, was based on the understanding that I was studying different practices and fields so that I could teach them.

Because I studied a variety of fields, I feel that really helped me take in a more holistic view of the world. This was really supportive because I work with lots of different people, personality types, and cultures.

Part of my role is to support them in their holistic being and to support them in collaborating together. That was very helpful for me to expand my view of the world.

It allowed me to understand the world more holistically and not be so singularly focused on one form of practice, study, or knowledge base. So, that was really helpful.
