What is the biggest challenge in your current role?
My biggest challenge is increasing my visibility so that I can be sustainable. Running a business has been a new thing for me, and I know I've had a steep learning curve. I'm in my second year of business now, or technically going into my third year.
It's been a lot, and being able to grow my business so that people know what I'm doing and to have opportunities. Especially because I think part of what has happened over the last year is this fear of a recession.
With budget cuts and layoffs, that had a really big impact on my business. I had to really learn how to pivot. So, to be on a learning curve and then constantly be in the midst of change, and then having to pivot to make sure that I can still operate, that's been the biggest challenge for me.
