Yes. I was able to do a marketing internship at a Phoenix-based marketing agency while I was in school. I also worked on various portfolio projects, academic projects, and classes.
Many of those experiences shaped my career trajectory. They influenced how I see myself as a professional, my strengths, and areas where I could improve. This included my technical skillset.
These experiences also drove me in the direction of a field where I can combine business, technical, and creative skills. That is what led me toward marketing and advertising fields.
