How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
Everyone I know who went into construction is very intense, and that can be a good thing or a bad thing. But they're all hard workers. They're some of the hardest workers that I've ever met.
People in the industry are very street-smart and creative because you really have to be. They're also very analytical, so if you give them any problem, they could probably think of a solution.
I've also met some of the best leaders I know in this industry. It really is a team sport, and you really need to be able to rally your troops towards that goal. So, I think you really need to be a good leader to thrive in the construction industry.
