What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
As a senior consultant at Deloitte, 90% of my responsibilities revolve around helping whatever client I am working with, and with whatever they need. It really varies on the type of project.
You look at anything from doing interviews and generating insights, to doing a lot of research and creating slide decks to recommend things for the client. 10% of my time is revolved around what we call firm initiatives.
This means doing something within Deloitte that helps the firm become stronger. For me, most recently, I was working with a huge bank. I was helping them figure out some changes in their organization and giving them recommendations with that.
But I'm also at Deloitte helping them track their sales for their culture work. I'm helping manage two analysts figure out how to track how we track the sales. Essentially, that's mostly what my job looks like. Most of my time is working with the client, and 10% of my time is helping internally with whatever I want to.
