What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate or graduate student might consider?
With Major League Table Tennis, we actually have internships. We just hired an individual to be an intern for our tech team. Other than internships, there are always part-time sales positions.
Sales is always huge for sports, specifically for Major League Table Tennis. We always need help promoting our events, selling tickets, promoting our merchandise, and getting the word out there about our particular team format. We also need help introducing people to it.
Students have a lot of potential to help us with these roles. Schools are huge, especially with students. Table tennis is a popular sport recreationally.
Encouraging other students to come and check it out is a necessary aspect of introducing a sport to someone. When your friends want to do it, you'll try it out for sure.
