Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
Yes, for sure. I studied economics and finance in college, majoring in economics. I knew I wanted to get closer to the real business side of things.
So, I pursued a master of finance at UC San Diego. I never really thought I was going to get an MBA; that was never something I expected to want to do.
But, I worked for four years in consulting and just wanted to progress my career forward. That's what led me to go after an MBA and go into UCLA. I knew I either wanted to do consulting or investment banking.
I like being in a fast-paced environment where there's a lot of opportunity. I felt those two careers matched me in that sense.
