What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I studied economics. My favorite class was econometrics. I know many people dislike that class, but it was extremely helpful in my last job.
We are a platform for home services, so we have many customers and service providers like cleaners, plumbers, and aircon technicians. We run the company in a very data-driven way.
We were able to implement things like regression analysis, a lot of statistics, and run A/B tests. I wouldn't have known these things if I were just a pure business student. I loved all the quantitative classes I took back then and definitely recommend everyone take more of them.
