Jessica, a Brand Strategist + Business Consultant, most enjoys "meeting people and hearing their stories," particularly entrepreneurs who possess compelling offerings but struggle to articulate their value proposition. What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I consider my industry communication. My clients all live and breathe across a variety of industries. What I love about being in marketing or communication is meeting people and hearing their stories. That's ultimately what I get to do in my day-to-day job.

I love meeting entrepreneurs. I love hearing what drove them to start a business, create a product, or innovate something that wasn't working. A lot of times, they have a hard time articulating that.

They're incredibly intelligent and have a really cool offering, but they haven't figured out how to tell the story yet. I love being able to listen to them ramble and then come up with a one-sentence description.

To see their eyes light up and hear them say, "Oh, you nailed it," that's my favorite thing. It's being able to meet people, learn their stories, and then package that as something digestible that resonates with outside audiences.
