Starting an internal audit as an undergrad is a great way to begin your career and learn more about the company or industry you're interested in. As an entry-level auditor, you'll work on various projects covering multiple aspects of the company.
You'll gain a lot of industry knowledge because you get a bird's-eye view of many key processes. For example, I initially started in internal audit thinking it would help me figure out what I wanted to do in the industry. It turned out I started in the right place because I found that I really enjoyed auditing.
