What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Right now, I coordinate the funds New Jersey receives from its participation in a regional cap and invest program. This program provides tens of millions of dollars each year.

New Jersey Reinvests these funds in greenhouse gas emission reduction projects. These include natural climate solutions like urban forestry and tree plantings, as well as tidal restorations. The funds also support transportation and building decarbonization projects across several state agencies.

As the Reggie Funding Coordinator, I collaborate with groups within our Department of Environmental Protection. I also coordinate with sister agencies, such as the Board of Public Utilities and the Economic Development Authority. This is my primary role.

My other responsibilities include researching greenhouse gases, their emissions and reductions, and pipeline leaks. I also focus on topics related to the electricity sector, carbon markets, and clean energy.
