What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?
Absolutely. Pretty much any of our positions are available as entry-level roles. This is true whether at Sun Cycle or other companies.
From a trainer perspective, as long as you have a fitness certification, that's the prerequisite. We do lean more heavily towards cycling certifications. However, if you have a personal training certification through NASM or another accredited organization, that's pretty much the only requirement.
There is also an auditioning process to ensure you can teach a class with confidence. From the setup side, pretty much anyone can join. As long as you can lift a certain amount of weight and handle the physical aspects of the role, we take people from all different backgrounds. This includes college grads or those with other experience.
We also have growth tracks. This allows for adding new classes and becoming a more senior-level instructor as you progress through our program.
