Transcript
What is one lesson you've learned that has proven significant?
I think I started by producing my own events. I used to bartend for about 10 years, and because of that, I had a lot of connections to brand managers, ambassadors, and restaurant owners.
I've been very fortunate because they've given me the freedom to create my own nights at bars. They've backed me by sponsoring events or giving me advice.
When you start something from the ground up, you really learn what it takes to create a successful event that can keep going. A lot of people have ideas, but it's hard to follow through and make them a reality.
Creating and producing something on your own is a really good experience. You learn a lot from doing something like that.
