What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?
I think one of the things I've learned over time is that the experience you have within a consulting firm and the consulting industry is generally dictated by the people you surround yourself with, and less on the project.
I have found that, early on, working with good people has made the role significantly more enjoyable than the topic or nature of the project I'm working on.
If you come into consulting, my general advice would be to seek out good people early on who seem to have your best interests at heart. Look for those who are good mentors and willing to invest their time into your development. This can have an exponential impact on anyone's consulting experience.
