What do you enjoy most about being in your career role?

For me personally, I enjoy being in a people-oriented business. At its core, consulting involves management and dealing with people day in and day out. It requires flexibility and the ability to connect with others.

As someone who gets a lot of energy from working with people and being in a client-facing role, I particularly enjoy building relationships. This includes building relationships with my team members and with clients.

Another aspect I would add is that consulting offers significant flexibility in the nature of the work. Projects typically range from three to five months in duration. This means you're often changing projects every three to five months.

This allows for a different focus and something new with each project, working with new teams and new groups of people. I enjoy this aspect because it involves continuous learning. These are some of the things I enjoy most about consulting.
