What did you do in graduate school that set you up for success in your career?
That's a good question. Grad school really made the importance of networking very clear to me. It started with my peers in my MBA cohort and the broader MBA community.
They demonstrated the importance of making connections with others outside of your industry, company, or comfort zone. This showed me how valuable it is to get different perspectives from different areas.
It's easy to stay in your lane and bubble, but understanding what else is out there and gaining perspectives from others is really important.
