Favorite Parts of Being a Consultant at a Big 4 Consulting Firm
Jack, a Consultant at a Big 4 firm, most enjoys the people, especially the "growth environment" fostered by working with smart coworkers and the unique opportunity to build strong friendships with a large cohort of peers in a similar stage of life, which also serves a professional purpose since "half of networking is being friends anyways."

What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
I enjoy the people the most, actually. I really like my coworkers. It's really cool to be able to work in a place where everybody is so smart. It feels like a growth environment.
On top of that, my starting class was probably about 150, and that was just for that one month. A lot of them were in a very similar stage of life to me. As a newly adult, coming out of college, you know, a lot of people move away, and you're kind of starting fresh.
You have 150 people that are in a similar stage of life and are pretty cool people. Depending on where you decide to work and if you align with a similar culture, you can make friends with them. Half of networking is being friends anyway. So, it serves a professional purpose as well. The people are my favorite part.
