What skills are most important for a job like yours?

With the design field in particular, you definitely want to be comfortable and good with your hands. You want to have as steady hands as you possibly can.

The next parts are for every job in general, so don't feel like it's just honed in on that particular group. You definitely need to be good at communicating. Interacting with other people is key and important, despite what everybody else is trying to do.

You just need to formulate and be good with your own pacing, making sure that you collaborate and communicate with others. I can't stress that enough. Being part of a team also gets the job done. Teamwork makes the dream work, as they say.

In addition, you can never go wrong with being organized and disciplined. You will need that for the rest of your life. So, just having a set schedule, despite how variable things can be, you should always try to find a way to have a set schedule.

For example, if you work eight hours a day, you should fill it up within that time. I stress that you take your breaks wherever you can, because that will help you get through the day. But above all those, you have to just be organized.

Be detail-oriented, be focused on the big picture, help out around your team, and then make sure that you communicate. In particular, for our role, you just have to make sure you're good with your hands and always know the science.

Don't be afraid to ask questions when necessary, because it will help you in the long run.
