What does a day in the life of a staff research associate look like?

It's very variable. I think everyone with this particular title will always say the same thing: it depends on what field you're in.

The one thing we all share in common is lab skills. You have to be good with interacting and talking with others, and working and collaborating as part of a team.

In my particular field, since I'm helping out with whole blood, I have to be used to and good with seeing blood. In addition, I need to be organized and help the team wherever I can by finding and locating all of the samples.

So, that's basically what a day in the life would look like, I guess, in my case. It is very variable, so I hope that still answers the question.
