What are some of the biggest challenges within your current role?
For me, I find it very challenging to balance the research aspect of our careers as professors. It demands a significant number of hours where you're focused on that.
I find it hard to block out time, even though I'm teaching and there are all the other things going on. Everyone has a lot going on, of course.
But to stay on top of the projects, whatever stages they may be in, and to push them forward – I still find that a challenge after ten years of doing this.
