Anyone successful in this industry, especially as a graphic designer, is always staying alert to what's going on. This includes what's happening in entertainment or new trends in the graphic design world. There are many conversations about AI, but simply being aware of current events will always put you a step ahead.
I have an aunt who was also a graphic designer, back in the eighties. She said as they transitioned from analog to digital, she couldn't keep up with how rapidly graphic design was changing.
I think that's relevant to my own approach. It's about always staying ahead because technology constantly changes. The way graphic design looks now won't be the same in the future. So, it's about always being aware and moving with the times.
