Transcript

Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

I had about three internships before I went into my professional career. Aside from that, I worked as a graphic designer on my campus for different organizations, and all of my titles were graphic designer.

One of the things I found really interesting about being in such an early, pre-entry-level role as a graphic designer during my undergrad was that I was doing things a senior-level graphic designer would do. I rarely had a position where a designer above me was mentoring me.

I don't know if that was specific to me. I know other students in my cohort had a similar experience where they were just the graphic designer for whatever company they were interning for or just starting out with.
