What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
For me, it was definitely as I moved into that earlier phase. Solving new problems is something that was really exciting to me.
If you're on the cutting edge of research in roles that require a little more seniority, experience, or education, you get to solve the hard problems. These are things you can't look up on Google or find on Stack Overflow.
Even when you ask your current colleagues, they might say, "We haven't done that before." For me, that was always exciting because it meant I got to take a crack at it.
