What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I think we have two challenges in my current role. One is keeping up with trends in our clients as their businesses change. Right now, we're seeing a trend of companies either moving out of California or opening divisions outside of California.
This means learning new state laws, like in Tennessee, Texas, and Florida, where they may be moving some of their operations. So that's one challenge: keeping up with those trends.
Internally, on a positive note for younger audiences, we are really desperate for new people to come into our industry and learn and grow. While I know that insurance may not seem like something people dream of, it's a very awesome business and a great way to have a really successful career.
So, I'm trying to encourage people to come into our industry, learn and grow, and be the next generation of leaders.
