What does a day in the life of a CEO look like?
There's no such thing as a typical day; every day is quite different. Sometimes my mornings are involved in calls with our international or domestic teams. Sometimes I have to follow up on meetings with our board, and sometimes with potential donors or clients looking to invest in our initiatives and programs.
Later in the day, it's a mix of reviewing how some of our programs are doing and then maybe some brainstorming sessions with our development and program management teams. I always make sure that every single day we have some time to look over impact reports and advocacy efforts, because that is the core of what we do.
We want to ensure that every single day we are calculating and confirming that the impact we have is at the forefront of our minds. So again, it's a very dynamic and constantly evolving role.
