What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I love collaboration. Anyone who knows me knows that that's my favorite thing. I love collaborating with brilliant people who have different types of expertise and different kinds of perspectives.
I like introducing folks to collaborate with each other and then standing back and watching what that looks like. I also like collaborating with outside parties to reach consensus so we can bring amazing content to our fans.
I have a shirt that someone gave me one time that I think sums it up: "I'm a connectionist." I think that is my superpower here on Earth during the time that I'm here.
I get so much joy out of meeting incredible people, definitely here at my company on a daily basis, who do all sorts of cool stuff. I'm always thinking, "Who can I introduce them to?" or "What project could they work on with someone else that would be really cool?"
People come to me because they know I love this and that it brings me joy. They'll say, "I really want to do this," or "I'd love to talk to somebody that does X, Y, Z." And I'm like, "I got you. Let me find somebody that does that for you."
So that actually makes the days go by fast, and I really enjoy watching the outcome of incredible collaboration. It's my absolute favorite thing.
