What is your biggest challenge in your role?

Boundaries. So that is something I would say I struggle with both personally and professionally. It's this hard blend of being available and willing to help, being able to get scrappy with someone if they need support in their role, and meeting people and networking on their behalf.

But boundaries are also key to protecting my own time, my energy, and my network and my connections. So that was actually something when I stepped away from my tech consulting career for 10 years.

I took some time to really decompress, but added in some boundaries. I knew if I went into a role, especially as Chief Growth Officer, without boundaries, I was a little afraid that I would just end up burning out really quickly. So, boundaries are key, both personally and professionally.
