What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

One of the things I really enjoy most is that everyone in nonprofits, especially local environmental nonprofits in SLO County, gets to make a lot of connections. It's a small community, and we all kind of know each other. We're all in this together.

There's a lot of camaraderie. We're all working together to improve the environment and support each other. I really enjoy that.

Every time I get to meet someone new from another local environmental nonprofit, or folks at the parks, the county, or the city, it's great. It's a highlight of my day.

I enjoy the fact that everyone's kind of on the same page, wanting to work to make the world a better, happier place, especially in SLO County. That's one of the things I enjoy most about being in our industry: we're all kind of aligned in where we're wanting to go.
