What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

There's so much joy to be found in managing volunteers. There's something about people who come to an organization just because they want to, because they're passionate, because they're excited to be there.

They are willing to spend their free time with us. It's a joy and an honor that you have so many things you could do with your spare time, and instead, you come here and help people learn about our exhibits.

You use telescopes to look up at the night sky, and you help others find that joy and passion in what you do. It's very much a pay-it-forward situation, and that's definitely my favorite part about my job.
