2. Seek out values-based work where you can live your values both personally and professionally. It makes work more fulfilling.

3. It's okay if 'do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life' isn't completely true, but the closer you get to that, the more harmonious and fulfilling your life will be. Find something you are excited to talk about with friends and family.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I think no matter what industry you're in, your life becomes so much more fulfilling the more you can integrate all aspects of it. I never wanted a job that felt like a separate part of my life, where I had work and then my life outside of work. I thought that would feel so split.

For a while, I was really masking when I went to work, not being my true self. I was also working for causes that weren't aligned with what sets my soul on fire.

My number one piece of advice for anyone in college or searching for a job is to find an industry and a cause, for-profit or nonprofit, that allows you to integrate both parts of your life. The cliche of "do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life" isn't entirely real.

However, the more you can feel excited to post about your job on Instagram or talk about work with friends, the more harmony you'll find in your life. It will feel really fulfilling.

What I enjoy most about being in my industry is that it's values-based living for me. I live a low-waste lifestyle and can embody the climate talk and walk the climate walk. This is the biggest thing for me; it's what my life revolves around, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
