What did you do in undergrad to set yourself up for success in your career?
I think that aside from internships, which I had every summer, I also worked at an ice cream shop. I wanted to show I had experience in food service and could handle challenging customers.
While at school, I joined many clubs and sought leadership positions. If summer internships are difficult to obtain, leadership roles in clubs demonstrate your ability to manage people and groups effectively on your resume.
All of these experiences also provide good stories for interviews. It's difficult when you're asked a question and don't have an example of a time you solved a problem. These leadership experiences in undergrad are very helpful for interview sessions.
