Q11: Significant lesson - career
What is one lesson that you've learned that has proven significant in your career?
As the owner of a marketing agency, I learned that starting a business is really hard. It requires a lot of patience, perseverance, and long, long hours.
But I think it's very worth it, every bit of the effort and hours you put in, especially when you're passionate about what you do. If you're passionate about starting your business or being part of a marketing agency, it gets easier, even though it is a lot of work.
For example, if you want to start your own business, there are many free resources like YouTube tutorials and Google searches. That's what I did to teach myself the ropes of being an entrepreneur.
Even with all these free resources, I learned that having a support system, a mentor, or a strong network can make your journey much easier. I became part of multiple organizations, like the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Having those groups and that community really helped me find people who inspire me or guide me through my personal growth and journey.
