What skills are most important for a job like yours?
For a job like mine, which is super cross-functional, people skills are essential. Knowing how to work with and talk to other people and teams, especially those with different domain knowledge, priorities, or expectations, is crucial.
It's important to communicate with them and interface effectively to reach alignment, compromise, or agreement between your team and theirs.
The second critical skill is prioritization. Because I help manage awareness and marketing across all consumer products, including figures, statues, and apparel, knowing how to prioritize all those different aspects in your day-to-day work is extremely important.
