What is one lesson you've learned that has proven significant in your career?

My boss, who is really a mentor to me for my whole career, always reminds us that we are only as good as our last project. I think that's a reminder of the dedication to always doing your best and delivering the best product you can for your clients.

This is a company that had a 40-year track record, delivering some of the most important entertainment properties in the world. But he never let us fall back on, "Well, look at what we did 10 years ago, we can do it again."

He said, "Make sure that every client knows that you're putting your best work in for their show, for their project, every day." I think that sticks with me, not just in my work, but in how I live my life. You always want to put your best foot forward and know that a small thing really can make the next big step. I take that with me everywhere I go.
