What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?

Something I learned about this role is that it counts as public service. I think I knew that, but as it relates to people thinking about entering this profession and this industry, I didn't realize before I started this work that if I did this for 10 years, I could forgive some student loans.

I'm on track to doing that. I love what I'm doing, so it doesn't really feel like I feel too bad that I still have student loans because I know that they will be forgiven since this is technically public service.
