What does a day in the life of a manager at a consulting firm look like?
A typical day is fully devoted to the client you're on. This is how the model at my firm works.
You're fully immersed in the client you're working with, and that's your only responsibility. You are basically part of the client's team.
You will have meetings with them or deliverables each day and each week. It's really about communication. Constantly being in open communication with the client and whoever you're working with on the client, which is your team.
Very open communication, really understanding each week what you're delivering on and what the goals are for the project.
