What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
Starting my own business in construction would have been easier if I'd known how incredibly difficult and time-consuming it would be to build something meaningful. It's not an easy path, and you definitely need grit to persevere.
However, I'm not sure I would have chosen this route if I'd known how hard it was going to be. It's a blessing and a curse; sometimes, naive optimism is what gets entrepreneurs started.
