What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I would say there are three things. One, as I alluded to earlier, this is a team sport. I love learning from people who are wise from experience, from the "old heads" as they say, to the brand new, wide-eyed hire who's looking at things fresh.
You have the ability to coach, but also be coached, and I really enjoy that. Along those same lines, there's constant learning. These companies are ever-changing, almost like organisms.
They change industries, change human beings, and make decisions. It's unpredictable. You're never doing the same thing month over month, year over year. So change is good.
The learning that goes along with that, again, going back to curiosity, is what I really enjoy. It just keeps things fresh. It's not static; it's really dynamic.
