What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
The thing I enjoy most is the impact we get to have on the patients we serve. Being in a biotech firm, we primarily work with orphan diseases, which means really small patient populations.
This generally means pretty severe diseases. So, when we make a drug that's effective, it can have a huge impact on a patient's life.
Seeing kids, 'cause being genetic, they generally first present in childhood, is amazing. You have these kids with really severe diseases, and when you can change their lives and have them thrive, it's just an amazing experience.
