What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
What I like most about my current role is probably the fact that it's in such a fast-paced environment. You get the opportunity to be on the assembly floor, either building components, watching how they're built, and observing where things go wrong.
You can also observe where things can be improved. Depending on the products you're working on, you could be on the equipment floor or in the clean room. That means you get to gown up and wear the bunny suit.
It really does feel like you're in a lab. My favorite part is just being on the line, interacting with all the operators and technicians, and getting to know them. A lot of these people have been working on the product for 30 years.
They truly are the experts, and I've found you can learn a thing or two from them. I'd say definitely just being involved, seeing what life is like on the floor.
By exploring that part of the business, it has benefited me a lot in terms of when I go back to my desk and the processes I create there.
