What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge is finding top talent quickly. It's often about timing.
You might not find someone willing to leave today, but they might want to join in a year. So, it really is about timing.
It's difficult to find the right person for the right building. I might have 50 applicants, but none are quite what we're looking for.
Then, it might come to my attention that someone doesn't like their management company for various reasons, but they've had great outcomes at their building. Or, perhaps our building just opened up, and we're only two minutes away, while they currently drive an hour.
Finding the right triggers to bring someone in and the right timing is difficult, but it can be very rewarding.
