What do you enjoy most about being in your role?

I enjoy meeting new people, primarily to learn their path, especially if it's their first federal job. Even in my personal life, when people come to my house or work on things, I want to learn how they got to where they are.

I also enjoy building relationships and being a resource for people. I always remember my first day in government when I didn't know where anything was or how it worked. So, when I encounter those situations, I love to share what I know.

When you see people using a resource and realize it really helped them, it's a rewarding feeling. They don't have to come back every time, but when you help even one person, you think, "Okay, this is a good job. I like this job."
