What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?

After undergraduate studies, I believe the best opportunities are internship programs with the biggest studios. Exposure to seeing how they operate, almost like factories in the context of creativity, works well with the distribution of those works.

Especially with the streaming world, they're operating at a scale that's quite unheard of, even as of just a couple years ago. Depending on the field, there are certain rotational programs with studios like Paramount.

These programs allow you to have exposure to all different aspects of it, whether it's strategy, distribution, finance, or marketing. You'll be able to learn where not only your skills best align with a potential role, but also what you're interested in.

Sometimes those things don't have to be the same. An internship is the best way to explore that for yourself. It's less about getting an opportunity to work with a company and hoping you'd stay with them.

It's more about exploring for yourself where your passions and skills really lie. From there, you learn more about yourself to better make the best application for your next opportunity.
