What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

Looking back, I think the biggest thing was that I was as involved as possible. This included my sorority and Greek life, different clubs, marketing associations, and other organizations on campus. I really used every interaction as an opportunity to network.

You never know what your classmates will be doing in five years. In this case, Emily, the CEO of Advise, was a sorority sister of mine, and now she's launching her own company. I don't know if I could have predicted that when I was 18 years old.

Being able to help support the initial growth of our company is huge. I'm honored to be able to speak on my experiences to do that. I think it's important to keep up with and build your network.

Also, just have fun with it! Never turn down an opportunity to have a conversation with someone. You never know when you're going to cross paths with them again.
