A typical day for me as a CTO involves a mix of strategic planning and hands-on work. I usually start my day by reviewing key metrics for the product and project, and catching up with updates from the development team or the business team in general.
Mornings often involve meetings with the leadership team to discuss project progress and make strategic decisions. The rest of the day is spent balancing hands-on tasks, like reviewing code or brainstorming new features with the designer or developers.
It also goes into mentoring my team and ensuring everyone is aligned with our goals. A significant amount of time is also spent preparing for upcoming investor meetings, since we are in the fundraise and the whole M&A process.
