What did you enjoy most about being in this industry?
I enjoyed the people. I have remained active in the California environmental law community. The primary reason I have continued to do so is because environmental lawyers as a group are pretty nice people.
They care about our state and its environment. They tend to be optimistic. When they see there's a need, they come up with a proposal to address it. I remain active in the environmental law community because I love being with and working with the other lawyers in the field.
Environmental lawyers as a group may be a little different than lawyers in some other areas. They tend to be pretty cooperative and collaborative. I enjoy those qualities about them and their optimism.
