What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

The most significant piece of advice I received early on, and that has been given back to me and that I've shared with my teams, is to boil down everything you're working on to your top three priorities.

Even if you don't make headway on other priorities, making progress on your top three will have a bigger impact than making small progress across your top 20. I think we've all worked in environments where there are a thousand different things to get done at any moment. From my perspective, if you are succeeding in your top three responsibilities in your role, you'll be making a bigger impact than anything else you could do.
