What is your biggest challenge in your role?
The biggest challenge in my role, I would say, is probably the interpersonal conflicts that I sometimes get into. These disagreements can be difficult at times.
Sometimes I get very busy, and that can be challenging with having too much to do in a little time. Oftentimes, I get frustrated.
I've learned over the years to say no to certain things because I don't want to be overburdened or do a bad job. I don't want to spread myself too thin.
I enjoy getting involved in many different things. My wife and some colleagues remind me, "Dave, do you really have time for that?" So my challenge is making sure I don't take on too much and that I manage myself wisely.
I also need to take care of myself health-wise, which can be an issue. It's important to stay organized and be able to foresee upcoming tasks.
